Call for Papers – NOW CLOSED

Institutional Research: Strengthening HE Futures – online @ University of Brighton, 10 and 11 September 2020 from 9am-1pm

Thank you for your proposal submissions for the 13th  Annual HEIR Network conference 2020, hosted online by the University of Brighton, UK.

We received very strong applications, and have now finalised the programme for the 2020 event.

The submitted proposals will take place in the breakout sessions throughout the event, and consist of:

  • Presentations
  • Posters

The  presentation of work in a  30-minute breakout session, with 15 minutes for the presentation and 15 minutes for discussion.

Poster sessions in order to share ideas and institutional research work. These will be on display in a dedicated channel during the conference, enabling the author to highlight workkey findings and gather observations and questions from delegates.

For either of the above, we have encouraged ongoing and emerging work, as well as complete pieces.

 There are four conference tracks:

  • Enhancing Learning Lives – using IR to drive improvements in student engagement and learning experiences
  • Enriching Data Stories – transforming IR and data into insights and narratives to drive action
  • Influencing Policy – applying IR to inform and influence policy and strategy formation
  • Learning from Crises – how institutions have responded and evolved in response to the recent COVID-19 crisis.

Thank you again to everyone who submitted a proposal, and we look forward to you joining us at the HEIR 2020 Online Conference.
