Occupational therapy international workshop on universal healthcare in the Philippines

Our colleague, Paul Boyle, recently participated in an international workshop on universal healthcare in the Philippines. The workshop brought together early career researchers from the UK and the Philippines to explore whether universal healthcare is being achieved in the Philippines. Paul’s attendance was funded by the British Council Newton Fund which supports international links between the UK and low to middle income countries. His participation related to his interest in young adults living with disability and internationalising of occupational therapy practice. If you would like to discuss these topics with Paul please email him on p.boyle@brighton.ac.uk
