THT are looking for a dynamic and energetic person to join our Health Promotion Outreach team working from our busy Brighton centre. You will have a fun and confident approach to promoting condom use and healthy sexual practices in a range of social settings, mostly targeted at MSM. Ideally, you will have experience of delivering health promotion campaigns relating to sexual health. Most of our work is done in the evenings and at weekends, and so you will be need to be fully available at these times.

You will join a small team based in Eastbourne, to co-ordinate and directly provide a range of support services to people living with HIV in East Sussex. You will have appropriate experience and understanding of the specific needs of PWHIV or a similar complex client group. You will also co-ordinate and provide HIV prevention interventions with THT’s target groups at increased risk of HIV infection, in particular gay and bisexual men, African men and women and young people.
Successful candidates will have experience of health promotion outreach work with vulnerable communities and/or undertaking structured support to individuals appropriate to need 35 hours per week, including some evening and weekend work, and a willingness to travel across the county.
Salary £23,538 per annum

The East Sussex School health service are looking for people with relevant qualifications and experience of working with children and young people in a health improvement service to the service.
Health Improvement Assistants will join the existing skill mix team and support the service in developing and delivering a range of Health Improvement initiatives to schools across all areas of health promotion including physical activity, healthy weight, and emotional health and wellbeing.
You must be an excellent communicator, confident presenter, and have a knowledge of health improvement approaches.
