The 9th Global Health Promotion Conference since the signing of the Ottawa Charter for Health Promotion in 1986, was held in Shanghai in November 2016, sponsored by WHO. Suzanne Jackson will outline the significant outcomes of that meeting and the work done in Canada in October 2016 that contributed a different perspective on the future of health promotion. Both meetings connected health promotion to achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals

THT are looking for a dynamic and energetic person to join our Health Promotion Outreach team working from our busy Brighton centre. You will have a fun and confident approach to promoting condom use and healthy sexual practices in a range of social settings, mostly targeted at MSM. Ideally, you will have experience of delivering health promotion campaigns relating to sexual health. Most of our work is done in the evenings and at weekends, and so you will be need to be fully available at these times.
