Could you be a mentor to the future generation of business women?

We’re currently looking at the aims of our Gender Equality Network and one of the things we’ve been discussing is inspirational stories and how to inspire others. Personally, coming from a working class background, I can really appreciate having had very strong women in my life to help inspire me. They’ve become my personal heroes.

The Gender Equality Network wants to encourage you too to help future generations of women.

Active Student Volunteering Service here at the uni are working with The Girls’ Network to help them recruit volunteer mentors. This is a fab organisation who “empower and inspire girls from the least advantaged communities by connecting them with a network of positive female role models”. That line’s taken from their website and will hopefully resonate with a lot of female staff members here.
