App Swap Breakfasts and now NEW afternoon App Swap BreakCafés are informal get-togethers for staff who own a device which supports mobile applications, otherwise known as ‘apps’.
Each session has a broad theme, this time it’s ‘5 things to know about your device’
To get you in the mood I thought I’d share 5 things you might not know about your iPad…
1. You can split the on-screen keyboard, which makes it far easier to thumb type. Place your thumbs or fingers in the centre of the screen and drag to the sides…
2. Holding down keys on the on-screen keyboard gives access to special characters…
3. If you make a mistake in typing you can undo by shaking the device…
4.You can switch between open apps by swiping with 4 fingers…
and finally
5. typing two spaces adds a full stop.
