The University of Brighton has been working with Sussex Coast Teaching School Alliance on a project focussed on driving up attainment in primary mathematics.
A celebration of the impact of the project took place on Tuesday 21 May at the University’s Falmer campus. 16 primary schools from across the city came together to present how the project has improved the mathematics teaching in their schools.

The Postgraduate Education Research Conference is an annual event held by the School of Education for students from the Education MA, Guernsey PGCert and EdD programme. The event is also open to final year students from all BA(Hons) and PGCE routes who are interested in further study.

Two University of Brighton academics have published their fourth edited book with Routledge.
Dr Gary Stidder and Sid Hayes have released The Really Useful Physical Education Book: Learning and Teaching across the 11 – 16 age range with contributions from 16 other University of Brighton PE, dance, sport science and sport coaching staff members.
