PGCE students display outstanding work

Our talented (secondary) Religious Studies, Art and Design and Geography PGCE students have been displaying their impressive work and that of their pupils.

The display has been part of an assignment that showcases the hard work of our students whilst on placement in schools. The exhibition displays a variety of work, from display boards that would be used in the classroom in relation to the curriculum, to artwork of the pupils themselves.

The exhibition has been displayed from 5 -12 June on floor one of the Checkland building, Falmer. It was celebrated during an open evening on 7 June, where staff and students had the opportunity to come together and celebrate the success of their outstanding hard work and the next steps in their teaching journey.

Our (secondary) Geography PGCE student Hannah Grimes has been displaying her work at the exhibition, and said: “This has been a lovely thing for us all to do. As this was one of our last assignments, the open evening was a mark to finishing and a reason to celebrate! It was so nice to see everyone’s hard work pay off.”
