Dyslexia training course for teachers and TAs

Working alongside East Sussex County Council (ESCC), The University of Brighton are very happy to accredit this specialist course for those working with children and young people with dyslexia.

Education_Primary_050The course is open to both teachers and TAs and delivered over 5 ½ days, with training taking place at the Hailsham Children’s Centre during Wednesdays in the Autumn term.

Students will learn how to identify and support pupils at risk of dyslexia, look at the emotional effects, assess reading and writing skills, plan direct and indirect intervention and consider dyslexia friendly environments.
