School Direct Update

Recruitment is well underway for high quality School Direct candidates to start their programme in September 2014/15.

Due to the success of this year’s programme we are aiming to expand our numbers and we are currently on track to increase by 300%. We are continuously improving our provision and have an established a school-led steering group that ensures that these improvements are relevant and shaped by school needs.

In response to feedback from schools we have recently developed a new School Direct Support Tutor role. This means that school partners have a dedicated university member of staff allocated to them who acts as the first point of liaison for all communications. This enables a responsive and flexible approach to the diversity of school needs within the partnership.
