marks make meaning

It will consider a diverse range of approaches to drawing and explore why drawing practices have value in different contexts – both in the art school and beyond.

The formal programme will finish at 7pm, allowing an hour for drinks and the opportunity to look around the exhibition and continue discussions informally in the café-bar next to the theatre.

On the 14th from 4.30pm to 6.30pm in M2 on the Grand Parade Campus is the Drawing and Health Seminar, a free event bookable via Eventbrite.

Drawing seminar

This seminar is running in conjunction with the Marks Make Meaning: drawing across disciplines exhibition and further explores the strand on drawing, health and wellbeing. It brings together two perspectives on how drawing is used within different disciplines.
