I am Head of the School of Pharmacy and Biomolecular Sciences at the University of Brighton and a biochemist. I joined the University in October 2015.

I am an associate editor of RSC Advances and serve on the editorial board of Bioscience Reports and Current Enzyme Inhibition. I am a member of the Biochemical Society and currently serve as a member of the Society’s Council. I am also a member of the British Society for Parasitology, the British Inherited Metabolic Disease Group and the Higher Education Academy.
