Booktrust Best Book Award Winners 2014

This is the first year for this new award in children’s books. School children from around the country voted for their favourite titles in various categories including picture books, fiction,  books with facts and the best digitally enhanced storytellings (apps, e-books etc.). The winners are:

Ages 0-5 Best Picture Book

Ages 6-8  Best Story Book

Ages 9-11 Best Story Book

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Hard Luck by Jeff Kinney

Ages 9-11 Best Fact Book

Ages 12-14 Best Story Book

The Fault in Our Stars by John Green

Ages 0-14 Best Tech

Little Red Riding Hood by Ed Bryan
