Enhancing engagement with cultural heritage collections using 3D digital technologies

The presentation will discuss opportunities created by 3D technologies for enhancing the engagement of diverse audiences with cultural heritage collections. This research was developed in collaboration with local partners including the Brighton Museum and Art Gallery and Hove Civic Society. The activities include the development and deployment of cutting-edge technologies, including 3D scanning, computational algorithms and 3D printing to create a variety of interpretative material for heritage collections, environments and locations. The presentation will showcase different applications of the technologies as well as discuss some current challenges
