Ronald Mcdonald House Charities

Volunteer students who have painted a mural in the hospital laundry room

Ronald Mcdonald House Charities is a nationwide charity that offers free ‘home away from home’ accommodation for families who have children in hospital.

Active Student have led various mural projects with the charity to brighten up the rooms at the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital.

Jasmine Hind from Ronald McDonald Houseserving Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital and the Trevor Mann Baby Unit, tells us about the help they have had from our volunteers.

“In the last few years we have received the most wonderful support from student volunteers. They have created beautiful artwork within our House, brightening it up and making it feel much more comfortable for the families that stay with us. We are so very grateful for the effort and enthusiasm the students have given this project.”
