Ethicul on a mission to support sustainable businesses

Ethicul team

A team of final year Brighton Business School students are launching a new ethical rewards app. In this post they explain how they can support both local independent retailers and sustainability-minded consumers.

Hi, we are the team behind Ethicul! From left to right we have Ryan Hudson, Matthew Denford and Charlie Jordan; all final year business students from the University of Brighton. Collectively we have a shared passion to drive positive change across Brighton & Hove.

At Ethicul our mission is to empower society to make ethical decisions using rewards and convenience of choice, whilst also supporting our sustainable partners to grow through improved visibility and customer reach. We are working towards building a mobile application to facilitate a social movement of positive purchasing.

We’re an ambitious bunch here at Ethicul, that is why our vision is to create over 1 million ethical transactions between consumers and ethical businesses across the UK before 2025. However, we cannot achieve this alone.

That’s why we need your support in transitioning this into reality.

If you are an individual looking to make a difference within your community through the way you purchase on a daily basis, Ethicul will be the place for you. You will also be rewarded for doing so through exclusive offers and rewards. So, what more can you ask for?

Likewise, if you are a local, sustainable organisation that has a focus other than just profitability, we are looking to hear from you! We want to showcase all the great things you are doing within Brighton & Hove and drive your business forward.

We are the team bridging the gap by creating an ecosystem of ethical buyers and sellers in one innovative platform.

Given the current circumstances we are all facing, it is more important than ever to find ways to support local businesses.

So, whether you are an individual or a business looking to join us on this journey, please reach out to us at hello@ethicul.co.uk or linkedin.com/company/ethicul

Ethicul are supported by beepurple and our Entrepreneur-in-Residence, James Burton
