Careers in the Arts Fair – 14 June, London (FREE)
Easel’s annual Careers in the Arts Fair takes place on 14 June at The Courtauld Institute of Art‘s interim home in Kings Cross. The day is designed to celebrate the broad and diverse range of jobs and opportunities in the art industry. Panel Discussions will explore the fundamentals of the art world, how to start an art business and what the future of the art industry looks like. Over 40 industry leaders will be representing auction houses, art publishing, charities, commercial galleries, digital technologies, finance, higher education, law, museums and more.

Kassel Documentary Film & Video Festival
Submissions are invited for the 36th Kassel Documentary Film and Video Festival. Current films and installations from 2018 and 2019 are eligible to enter with no limit of the running time of the submitted work. Socially Engaged Art Salon (SEAS) Poster Design Competition for the Stonewall uprising 50th Anniversary
SEAS (based in Brighton) have launched an international competition for a poster design that celebrates the Stonewall uprising 50th anniversary. The competition is open to visual artists, photographers, illustrators, graphic designers and any creatives aged 18+. The best 12 works will be printed by SEAS and exhibited as part of Riot! Celebrating Stonewell’s Anniversary exhibition.

The ING Discerning Eye Exhibition
The ING Discerning Eye is an educational charity established in 1990, to encourage a wider understanding of the visual arts and to stimulate debate about the place and purpose of art in society. The exhibition offers the opportunity for work by lesser-known artists to be showcased alongside contributions from internationally recognised names.
Submissions are open to all artists born or resident in the UK  – prints, photographs and sculptures are accepted.  Many prizes available.
