Student Operations and Support (that’s us) are recruiting Student Ambassadors to work at the university for 2019-20.

Working as a Student Ambassador is a great opportunity for anyone with an interest in supporting students, marketing, gaining feedback for a service and providing excellent customer service and administrative support.

You’ll have the chance to work at campus open days, international orientation, welcome week, career fairs, and many other events besides. The role is a zero hours contract so you’re not committed to killer hours that get in the way of your studies, or your life outside of uni.

Full training is provided and you’ll be supported by UoB staff at all events.

Our ambassadors reflect the full range of life experience shown in the student community. With this in mind we would particularly welcome applications from international students, mature students, and students with disabilities. See the job description and person specification for full details (link below).

Did we also mention it bags you £10.23 per hour? Not bad, eh?…

How do I apply?

Go to our Jobs and Placements Service (log in with your university login details) and search for Student Ambassador – Student Operations and Support. Fill out the application form and EO Monitoring Form and email to the address shown. No CVs please!

Applications close on 1 May, but take some time to tailor your application to match the job specification…that’s a major hint, btw. Targeted applications make us smile, and get you shortlisted. See our website for more on targeting your application.
