First funding round up of the academic year. Get your cash grab on, people…

Welcome back one and all to sunny (right now, prob. raining before I get to the end of this sentence) University of Brighton Land!

Bizarrely I’m now going to float the idea of studying at other unis in other countries – it’s scholarship and bursary time.

Closing 24 October! Frank Knox Memorial Fellowships enable up to six UK postgrads to study for up to two consecutive years at Harvard. Each fellowship is worth $30,000 plus tuition and health service fees. More info and apply at http://bit.ly/2NBG0oZ.

Closing 24 October! Kennedy Scholarships for postgrad study at Harvard and MIT – includes Masters, PhD and special non-degree study. More info and apply at http://bit.ly/2MZ2SK0

Interested in study and research in Germany? Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD for short) has a variety of funding programmes to make it happen. More info and apply at http://bit.ly/2OU2deQ

Closing 1 March! The Anglo-Danish Society has scholarships for postgraduate courses and research for UK graduates undertaking postgrad study in Denmark – and vice-versa. Check it out and start drafting your application now, but be aware applications are only accepted from 1 January 2019. More info and apply at http://bit.ly/1o9lTfs

Not bad for an opening salvo, eh? Follow the blog to get more funding updates, events round ups, news about competitions, guest blogs from employers and others in the know…and a ton of other stuff too. You’re welcome.

PS. Anyone who can make a connection between this post and the painting has earned my respect – which of course you’re all crying out for…
