Are you a recent University of Brighton graduate (who has graduated within the last two years) with a degree in a communications discipline?  Are you looking for a paid, one year internship starting in September 2018? We are looking for someone with strong writing skills, who is able to work pro-actively to help us make a real difference to our internal and external communications teams.

Having recently studied at our university, you will be able to draw on your experience to help us improve our engagement of 21,000 current students, writing enticing copy, publishing information across a range of communication platforms and overall, helping students to succeed during their time with us.

You will also have a keen interest in learning more about our media relations, internal communications and marketing work; writing press releases, supporting media and social media monitoring, carrying out desk research and assisting the department to meet its deadlines.

The university also offers a generous pension scheme and annual leave package. This post is fixed-term for one year. Job sharers welcome.
