Law Summer Work Experience 2018

Summer 2018 may seem aeons away but law firms are already starting to advertise for their summer 2018 vacation schemes. Slaughter and May (London) – Summer Work Experience 2018
Slaughter and May is one of the most prestigious law firms in the world. We advise on high-profile and often landmark international transactions. We run summer work experience schemes for penultimate year law and non-law students every year. During this scheme you will share an office with an associate in one of our legal groups. The associate will involve you as much as possible in their work. There will also be a trainee solicitor assigned to you. The trainee will help you to settle in and will also be available throughout your stay to answer any questions and assist with any tasks you may be given.
Salary: £400 per week

Norton Rose Fulbright (London) – Summer Vacation Schemes 2018
Our vacation schemes offer an invaluable insight into life and work inside a leading, global law firm. Our summer scheme is open to penultimate-year undergraduates and finalists from any degree discipline. Securing a place on either scheme is subject to a successful application and assessment day. On whichever scheme you join, you will have the opportunity to get under the skin of our business and get a genuine feel for what it is like to work here. You will get to participate in actual work with clients – which could involve anything from legal research to attending meetings or court. You can attend training sessions on presentation skills and lunchtime talks about our practice areas.
Salary: Competitive salary
