Learn how to generate and analyse entrepreneurial ideas at beepurple’s first training workshop of 2017/18.

In this interactive session you’ll not only discover the ideation process – you’ll learn how to decide which ideas are worth pursuing as a business.

Included in the workshop:

  • How to bridge the gap between having an idea and turning it into a reality;
  • Learn about the innovation process;
  • Discover the six areas where businesses can innovate;
  • Understand the key sources of business ideas, generate new ones and then evaluate them in minutes;
  • Plan the practical steps you must take to get your product or service to market;
  • Find out which tools and resources can help you

Who should attend?

  • Any student or graduate running their own business or thinking about doing so;
  • Anyone keen to increase their employability and improve their commercial awareness;
  • If you have an interest in ideas and innovation.

Speaker

This session will be delivered by Clare Griffiths, Business Development Manager (Entrepreneurship) at the University of Brighton. Clare has been working as a business support practitioner and entrepreneurship educator for the last 13 years, working with both individuals and businesses ranging from choreographers to printing companies. Clare is accredited as a Fellow in Entrepreneurship Education, by the National Centre for Entrepreneurship in Education (NCEE), and was awarded National Enterprise Champion in 2009, by the NCEE and Enterprise Educators UK (EEUK). In 2013, she was awarded an Excellence in Facilitating Learning Award by the University of Brighton for her work in entrepreneurship education and employability. Clare recently launched an employability web app for students and graduates, called SKILLS ON TAP UK.
