South Coast Elite Basketball is a basketball coaching organization that works with over 600 young people on a weekly basis through a comprehensive schools’ program, academy, half-term camps, central venue league and tournaments. Our team of 4 full-time and 3 part-time coaches works with children as young as 6 through to young men and women up to the age of 19. Established in 2013, our mission is to “engage, educate and inspire young people through the power of basketball.”

We work with 36 schools in Brighton + Hove, including 26 Primary’s and an elite sixth-form and secondary school program. Our schools’ program is the backbone of South Coast Elite, where we have the opportunity to introduce new children to the sport on a daily basis and offer a pathway from Primary School through to the top junior league in the country, the EABL.

Our half-term, Christmas and Easter camps routinely have over 80 children in attendance across the 4 days, with a fun and exciting development camp and an intensive elite camp taking place.

This year we introduced our South Coast Elite City League, a fortnightly central venue league for Primary School children that is non-stop action! This term’s league has over 90 participants across 8 teams.

We are looking for passionate and enthusiastic coaches who enjoy working with young people and teaching essential life skills through fun and safe basketball coaching sessions. We believe strongly in developing coaches not only on the court but off the court through group discussion, one to one meetings and personal development.
