Great little article in the Guardian’s career section today on how to avoid being underemployed, written by the chief executive of the Association of Graduate Recruiters. The skills gap is a reality but you can fill that gap in relatively easy ways. Know the lingo, show the core skills employers want and get some work experience (I know we keep saying it but volunteering counts , as does any part-time work you may do).
