Artist in Residence – University of Nottingham Museum at Nottingham Lakeside Arts April/May 2016 – January/February 2017
£6,000 plus up to £2,000 for legacy project for minimum of 2 days per week engagement on Museum Activities
An opportunity for an Artist in Residence Project at Nottingham Lakeside Arts using the museum’s collections as the basis for inspiration to increase levels of public engagement with the collections. Open to artists from a wide range of disciplines and/or working in an interdisciplinary context.

Jerwood/FVU Awards 2 x £20,000 commissions available
The Jerwood/FVU Awards are major awards for moving image artists in the first five years of their practice. The fourth edition of the awards called Neither One Thing or Another is now open for applications. Two artists will be selected to receive a £20,000 commission each which will show at Jerwood Space, London in 2017.

The Haworth Prize £4,000 prize for a northern English landscape or cityscape by a young artist from the North of England
The New English Art Club (NEAC) is looking for submissions of northern English landscapes or cityscapes by young artists living in the North of England. The short-listed works will be exhibited alongside the NEAC Annual Exhibition 2016 at Mall Galleries. Artists can submit paintings, drawings or prints that depict the landscape/towns of the North of England.
