Email Marketing Analysis

As we can see from this screengrab from my email, every week I receieve an email from Amazon about my recent purhcase of the ‘Amazon Echo’. They discuss every week about what is new with the echo and new games and activities I can do with my echo. This is a great way as a comany to get your consumers to interact with the products they have recently purhcased. Being on the recieving end of this email, I can see a high use of personalisation to get myself to interact with my echo as I feel like I am the only one recieving the email.

This is a great use of email marketing due to the fact that as I am interacting with my new product, I am beginning to realise how effective this product is and as a result it will make me want to branch out and use more of the current products that this company has to offer.

The use of tick boxes and interaction tools they use in their emails proves that they use email to target their customers and use this to gain a deeper understanding about whether people inteact with these emails, or if they bounce click etc.

As well as the interaction tools, we can see this section at the bottom of the email, the purpose of this is to get the customers to branch out of their comfort zone. Here they have tried to get me, as a customer, to use Youtube as another tool for finding out how to use my product effectively. This is the company trying to maintain a higher portion of the market share so that they can continue to proilferate. However, as this is such a huge company already it is apparent that they are doing well as a comapany and will continue to grow if they use these tools to communicate with their stakeholders.
