For the last 18 months, I’ve been exploring the world of slip casting and I have really enjoyed it, but it is a very particular way of working and requires forward careful planning.

As a rare treat today I picked up a bag of clay and allowed myself to just PLAY! No agenda, no brief, no boundaries, just allowing myself to go with the flow and see what happens. I found myself drawn to coiling, a technique I haven’t used in years. I absolutely loved it, it was liberating and made me slow right down in a deeply meditative way.
