A hugely valuable resource open to you as students is the trained library team, who can offer 1-2-1 support even though the physical library is closed, which can help you with locating references and sources for you.
The Library will continue to support students by offering advice and 1-2-1s online, via email, Skype or Microsoft Teams.

It is possible to work remotely and achieve a very good grade. For the majority of work academics complete for thier own research is completed using sources available as e-versions via the internet, such as academic journal articles accessed via on-line library, and government reports or statistics, accessed from government webpages, the Office for National Statistics webpages giving links to pdf of reports, etc.
COVID-19: Access to eBooks
Extended access to eBooks already in our collection.
To make it easier for students to access eBooks, some publishers have lifted restrictions on titles published by the University to allow unlimited, simultaneous, access until the end of the semester. Please note that this does not apply to all publishers.
Limited time access to ADDITIONAL eBook and eTextbook titles.
Some publishers have opened up their collections and are offering students free access for a limited time. Details of their offers can be found on the Finding Books & eBooks page of your library Subject Guides. Don’t use the Library Catalogue or OneSearch to look for these additional eBook and eTextbook titles. You will need to browse each collection separately using the links provided.
