LAUNCH AS PART OF EMPLOYABILITY WEEK IN 20th NOVEMBER

With the help of the careers service we are launching an opportunity for all first years students to join a The BBS Advantage Award Programme.  (university log in needed)

It will enable students to able to build a range of evidence to showcase their personal and professional development, so that when they graduate  they will be able to demonstrate  a collection of skills and experiences to complement their academic qualifications.

Students will be supported to create a skills audit using Skills on Tap,  a LinkedIn profile, a CV, a Personal Development Plan and a publishable webpage using studentfolio, working towards a bronze, silver or gold award in their  final year.

Throughout their time at Brighton Business School there will be opportunities to develop the content for their award through support from the Careers ServiceActive Student (student volunteering opportunities), BeePurple ( the university’s entrepreneurship support service), Stuart Bullen (BBS’s Student Support and Guidance Tutor) and BBS Employability Hub staff (based in room 159A).

There will be support sessions available and we will notify students of all opportunities once they  join the award programme!

There will be prizes as students develop your award portfolio to maintain interest.
