BBS Rubrics Turnitin
Rubric Exam Update
Marion has created 2 generic rubrics available to staff to use to mark exams on-line. One for undergraduate (UG) and one for postgraduate (PG) exams.
The university UG & PG grading descriptors has been adapted. Criteria is replaced with question numbers and the full range of grades is available.
Using this revised rubrics will enable you to mark/award each question in the grade available:
- UG question 1 = Excellent (70=79), question 2 = Sound/Competent (50-59), question 3 = Good/Very Good (60-69).
- PG question1 = Distinction (70-79%). question 2 =Pass (50-59%), question 3 = Merit (60-69).
There are 4 questions on the templates. You can add or remove questions depending on your paper.
How to use the rubrics?
Follow the same instructions below, How to use the BBS Rubric? However look for the BBS Rubric PG Template [shared with you] or BBS Rubric UG Template [shared with you].
Using the on-line rubric will provid evidence of marking to the external examiners.
A standard UG BBS Rubric
The school is working towards improving students’ perception of the feedback they receive from assessed work and to standardise the grading schemes applied. We have now developed a standard UG Rubric to be used across all Turnitin submissions based on the The University’s grading descriptors . This Rubric is available to all staff in the school and can be copied and edited for your own assessments.
There is also Post Graduate University Generic Descriptors
Details of how you work with this rubric are covered in the video below.
