Students presenting to a 4th Party Logistics Provider

Practical learning through our Supply Chain Consultancy Project

Students presenting to a 4th Party Logistics Provider

In term three of our Logistics and Supply Chain Management MSc students have the option of taking the Supply Chain Consulting optional module. This module involves applying your knowledge to solve a client’s supply chain problem via a live consulting project.

Last month, students consulted for a 4th party logistics provider (who wish to remain anonymous). The students gave their presentation to the Logistics Provider and a representative of their client’s organisation.

The consulting project allows students to apply their knowledge and skills to real problems. It’s a challenging and valuable experience that contributes to personal development, and, to their CV (resume).

Last year’s client was Edwards, a manufacturer and supplier of vacuum and abatement equipment used in advanced manufacturing processes.
