It’s good to see that you have approached this methodically, Jemma, working through the headings you were given. I think you may have struggled a little with using Powerpoint and getting it to create something that is visually informative and interesting in the way you wanted. It is a little difficult to read the writing on the poster at the size provided and would be good to see some images of your work or related makers’ work on there – but don’t worry about this. Do just approach this in whatever way you find more intuitive/straightforward – perhaps it might be good to do something manual, as you draw and use images so well in your sketchbooks? Then you will need to scan it to get it on the blog – if you need help with this we can sort that out.

Your poster feels like you are stepping into the unknown and you are holding on tight to the given headings. We started this journey so early in order for you to slowly become more confident as your project unfurls. Do include moments of discovery or disappointment and add drawings as well as photographs. Make your next poster much more image based without losing the headings – where are those gorgeous smoke drawings?
